Canon 40d prism replacement

Hi all,
I lent my Canon 40d to a friend and when i got it back I am seeing marks through the viewfinder. Does not affect the photographs.
I got a couple of lenses, so i swap one out one after another, i still see the marks in the same location. I've replaced the focusing screen before, so i took out the screen with the tool the kit came with... and i still see the marks... so now im suspecting it is the prism in the camera. Does anyone know how much it will cost to get this fix? and where can i bring my camera to get it repaired?

TIA

You may have to send it to Canon Canada in Mississauga.

Are they marks or just dust?

Do they disappear when you remove the focusing screen?

I assume you checked the mirror first?
