Trouble with her Ex.

decided that its probably pointless to get more exposure, so far all the answers has been helpful, talked to the gf, shes fine now.

thanks again revscene!

Have her change phone numbers. Then there will be no more contact.

What is probably perpetuating this is that she keeps in contact with him. If he lied to her or whatever her reason was to leave him, she should have left everything there.

There is probably more to this story if she still keeps in contact with him because it would be so much easier to just ignore the texts/calls than to actually respond. This is a matter of choice not of need/force.

If anything escalates, I would say make a report with the Police. As much as that may seem "much" it wouldn't hurt. Take what he said as a threat.
As with above, it seems as the gf may not be telling you something, to spare feeling and the relationship, which is normal. But not getting involved, sort of have to when you can't go about not thinking if this ex will go hulk on your car.

i once heard of a guy, who knew a guy who knew some guys that had connections... dont believe everything you hear..

vafanculo 10-30-2010 10:47 AM

Yea, he may have connections to china town gangs, but I doubt they would waste their resources and times settling a score for a jealous exbf.

How long have you guys been dating? Is it even dating? From what you wrote I can also get the interpretation that you are a rebound, so keep that in mind when weighing the pros and cons of your choices.

gf can always get a protection order from the police if it gets too bad.

I love how some people just automatically say call the popos. What has the Vancouver popos ever done for us really? All it'll do for you is a faulse sense of peace of mind.

Easiest solution is to tell your gf to ban him from her life if she really do care about not dragging you into ant kind of drama/BS.
