some of the songs are growing on me, i'm liking a lot of the beats.
i can see why some people wouldn't like it though, it's rather different than the conventional stuff out there.
hes not trying to stay away from Kanye lol, Kanye signed this nigga to GOOD music, without kanye this lame nigga wouldnt even be successful. He just said he doesn't like rapping anymore so when kanye asks him to write a verse he tries to delay it cause he even said himself that he sucks, he much rather write a hook or chorus.
heres the video for the interview: http://www.mtv.com/videos/news/591179/kid-cudi-is-over-rapping.jhtml#id=1650973
pretty solid album. defenitely don't regret buying the cd the. it's nice to see an artist with spectrum and say some real personal stuff instead of recycling the same lame ass meaning less shit that's on alotta rappers albums today. i will say that man on the moon I and II shouldn't be under the rap section they're more like sound tracks to a movie.
I don't get what he's trying to do with the singing because he's not a good enough singer...but the songs are catchy and may be because his singing is terrible.
