OEM ride height this winter? With the forecasts calling for a severe winter this year I finally gave in and bought snow tires, I don't want a repeat of my driving experiences from 2008. Even with snow tires I only have 4 inches of ground clearance under my front bumper though, so I'm thinking about swapping my OEM springs back in. I was wondering if anyone else whose lowered was thinking about raising their ride height for the winter? It might be well worth a few hours work. |
I am raising my coilovers up a little bit myself. Don't need to be snow plowing for the city lol If we get a big dump i'll raise it up all the way 4x4 for the win! |
might be a good idea since the snow won't catch on your cat and exhaust, also you wont get stuck. But i'm thinking if you watch where you drive and snow tires on, keeping the car lowered should be ok |
