Question on Excel for Experts For you excel experts (may not be necessarily), got a q I need help you asap. I have this image in PPT I want to use in Excel as my NON-REPEATING background, and be able to type over it. Closest I have come to is putting in image in Excel, and making it transparent, but the thing is I cannot CLICK on the cells in the image, only can get to it by using the arrow keys. If I click on the cells in the image, then the whole image gets selected. I have tried using the "Insert Background" method, but that also doesn't work, because 1) It's repeating everywhere, and I only need ONE image 2) My image is HUGE so I am trying to just get ONE image in so I can fit the data inside. I've spent like 2 hours on this and still can't figure it out. any genius can help me out? Thanks in advance |
You could try going into the script editor and changing the property of bgProperties to "fixed".. Don't know what version of excel you're using though |
^2003 or 2007. whenever i add the bg though and change the zooms, the text moves, but the bg stays the same, so my text will not always stay at the exact same place. that's also a problem. |
