Balling Coilover |
Wow.. I'm sure there better ways of spending 16k that will get you around a track faster. They sure look nice tho. Posted via RS Mobile |
thats worth 1/3 of the car... |
overkill |
sorry, shouldn't this be in automotive section?!? i guess 2 set of asm coilover can get u one used s2k lol |
|
wtf |
ya was gonna say.. i think 16K can get you alot more performance than one set of coilovers.. |
I think that that is for the most part just an overpriced street kit, however, true RACE parts are fucking $$$ compared to anything people ever see for the street. A BBK for a BMW 3 series starts at around $3k for a 4 wheel kit, however, a true Brembo or Alcon monoblock race kit would EASILY be $10k and likely closer to $15k by the time you add pads and rotors. Coilovers for a 3 series start at around $1500 however a true RACE setup like a 3 or 4 way adjustable Penske, Ohlins, or Moton setup will EASILY exceed $10k. Ricer wing... $350. Real wing designed to create maximum downforce with little drag, $1800-$2400 depending on width and upright size. There is so much crap available these days to put on your car it is unbelievable, however, it doesnt change what it takes to build true race products. -Mark |
