| Streaming blu ray to PS3 router
I've downloaded blu ray moveis on to my computer and would like to stream it to my PS3. I currently have an old linksys wrt router and when i try to stream, it usually lags and is choppy. What router would be best suited so that I can watch the blu ray movies on my ps3 without it being choppy or interrupted? Just to note, the ps3 and computer are in the same room about 10 ft apart.

Download tversity, I hear its the best streaming program for xbox and ps3. I never tried it with my xbox because the streaming from computer to xbox is already pretty good using windows media player.

No clue, I don't have a ps3 and was too lazy to set it up on my xbox. The main feature is that it streams everything, including 1080p mkv files. I havent read anything about it being laggy or choppy unless you have the wrong codecs installed.
Your router is wireless? Wireless sucks balls, if possible get a cord instead and connect your ps3 to the router directly.

I have an Xbox360 with tversity set up, I have yet to download and stream a blue ray movie with it yet. But I believe you can stream MKV files? But it works fine with AVI and I'm using wired connection.

don't use TVersity, I used to use that and it sucks compared to PS3 Media Server, use that and a wired connection and you're golden, even my older computer (1.8GHz, 512MB) could stream 1080p to my PS3.
