| Paypal Help needed!!
recently i had my eye on a J's header. The company only ships to the US. I was thinking of setting my Paypal address to TSB shipping so i can just pick it up there. However Paypal would not let me add a US gift address. Has anyone stumble upon this problem ? If so how would i come about it? thanks

| afaik you need a us bank account to register a us addy
the only way you can make a gift addy is an addy within canada

so there is no way to have a paypal item delivered to an address in the states if u are canadian?

i usually just email the seller to DON"T end it to my canadian address and send it to TSB.
I explain to them I got a mailbox there etc etc, never had problems

I had this problem a month ago, you do not need a US account.
I have a paypal account that is linked to my RBC bank account.
I sent paypal's support an e-mail explaining to them the situation but I think It might have been through an ebay purchase where you can change the address that added it to paypal. But definitely give them an e-mail because it is possible without a US credit card

I've never had this problem and I always use US shipping sites.
just make sure when you checkout that you enter the post offices address and the address is not your own.

back then they allowed you to add US addresses to your paypal account.
lucky i added it before.
now there is no way to add an US address onto your paypal account

this is why i F-kin hate US sellers they're paranoid as bat-shit even through paypal.
They need a US confirmed address, because Canada doesn't count as a real country? Paypal doesn't protect even with confirmed credit card holders? Gimmie a maple donut break man...
One thing you can do is call them and confirm your CC see if you can Verify by visa.
I've yet to have a single problem with ebay.usa now since I use my point roberts address.
P.S this question has been flogged to death... there is no such thing as adding a US account on your Canadian credit cards so don't bother asking. Only way is to get the mailing address changed but that's a PITA.

Just wondering if u need the us address for a credit card account or Internet banking account. Like I said I did this last month without a problem on my Internet banking one.
I would imagine with credit cards it's a little riskier for them (paypal) since it's credit not debit. Posted via RS Mobile | |

its definitely still possible. i just did so 1 month ago when i changed my package drop off from Blaine to pt Roberts.
you cannot do it in the Paypal website directly. you can only do it during a checkout process. try this, goto http://www.pickyourshoes.com/ add a shoe to cart and choose paypal as payment. For the shipping address you can change the location to where you want to ship. in the list of all your addresses you will then be able to add a new USA address. after the new address is saved, you can go ahead and cancel the remainder of the checkout. The USA address however is still saved in your address list.
