What the hell am I looking at?

On any normal car where the hell do you think your going to put a shifter? In the door handle?

Berz out.

That's so pointless.

I swich between my RHD and LHD cars on a daily basis... it honestly just takes getting use to, there is nothing more to do...

PK-EK 11-10-2010 10:24 AM

That car looks more like the driver is in the middle IMO
like the mclaren F1

So what is the OPs Question????

Berzerker 11-10-2010 10:28 AM

^^^ Exactly that's a single seat car with 2 foot sills on each side... No normal car can do that. Hell my door panel pretty much touches my seat.

Berz out.

MindBomber 11-10-2010 10:37 PM

How do you expect me to finger my gf between gears, if her pussy's on the left and my shifters on the right?

Moving the shifter over to the right side can be done, but it's a question of if the high cost is worth the hassle and all the custom work. It's not simply a matter of adjusting the shifter linkage; you have to factor in new side sills, pinching the entire interior inwards, moving the pedal assembly/steering column and all the associated linkages, fabricating a new dash and redoing the wiring, etc., etc.

I'm sure it's been done, but I can't imagine for a second that it's a very highly sought after mod. There's far too much work needed to be done for a minimal amount of gain.

Nicotine 11-12-2010 11:43 AM

thank you, an intelligent response^^^

MERXUS 11-13-2010 01:27 PM

horrible idea...
shifter instead of window switch basically lol

FishTaco 11-13-2010 01:54 PM

could you imagine trying to climb over your shifter to get in and out of the car
