scrap metal
 
does anyone know where they will accept nails and screws for scrap metal?

i recently cleaned out my garage and have a huge box full of nails and screws that i do not need and a metal cabinet

Recycle depot??? They have metal bins... I have a van full of garbage and buch of old electronics They took it all on a cart and brought it inside.. Didnt even have to sort it.

leave it out on your driveway for a couple days some scrap metal collector will see it and grab it.
if you like pm me your addy and I can send the scrap guy that comes to our shop there.

I've got the number of a good scrap guy, if you want. If not, you can just drop them off at my shop and he can grab them along with our scrap metal when he comes by.

Just take it to the Vancouver Transfer Station, on Kent around Cambie. There's a Steel bin you can dump all those items into, for free. That's where I dump my brake discs and pads. :)
