Best way to check vehicle history report

So I'm thinking of buying a used 2002 Audi A4, and I'm in the process of checking the background information on the car. I know I can go through ICBC and get the information report from them, but besides CARFAX (I heard they get their information late) Are there any other well known sites that you guys have used that you've had good experience with? Any help is greatly appreciated!! Oh ya, and if anyone wants to run the VIN you're more than welcome to for me WAUJC68EX2A308172

I was looking more for personal reviews. Anyways, I just ran the VIN online with ICBC and the status is normal, and the seller had already told me about the one claim/accident that was on it, but it's for just under 10k. Would you guys still buy a car knowing it has a 10k claim on it?

Get the details on the repair first.

If you're lucky, someone stole the interior and wheels and busted the ignition, when it was under a year old and the replacement parts cost a fortune.

Aircare doesn't tell me shit since it's only gone through twice. It's probably got about 95K on it now?

It's at 88k right now. He told me that he was hit on the front right side and that there were a bunch of things replaced with OEM parts. Is there any way I can find out exactly what happened/what was replaced?

I'd still have a trusted mechanic take a look at the car in detail on a lift and test drive the car before committing. Carproof is good and all but it won't show anything if previous owner(s) paid for repairs out of their own pocket.

Find a mechanic who works on that brand of cars, after my mom had a car accident in her old C class and got it fixed, our mechanic saw right away that we had been in a car accident. It wasn't that obvious and all the panels fit perfect.

Or you could waterboard the seller lol

Yes there is a way.

Take the car to a body shop you trust, tell them to check the car out and see how severe the damage is.A body shop will be able to tell you exactly what's been replaced or how bad the damage was or if the damage is alot more than the owner is willing to tell you(like frame damage).

I would still buy as long as there is no damage to the frame. Ask the buyer to get an inspection done to see whether the frame was ever touched in the accident. When did the car get hit? Maybe the reason why it claim was 10k was because it happened when it was still pretty new?
