If you actually look at the copywrite laws in Canada technically we could post as much music, tv shows and movies on here and it would be fine.
Uploading copywrited material is illegal. Downloading it is not. This is one reason why I've stopped using torrents. I can download as much as I want and nothing can happen to me. With torrents if you are seeding you are technically breaking the law.

As far as RS.net is concerned, I'm sure they'd like to avoid as much flack as possible, since our servers are still stateside from what I remember... used to be Texas at some point IIRC.

A simple whois would bring up

Revscene IP:
174.37.158.171
Revscene server location:
Dallas in United States
Revscene ISP:
SoftLayer Technologies

For that matter, that's why the whole JB threads were nerfed at some point, being that this was an invite only forum, it shoulda be slightly more acceptable, but meh..

But the way I figure it... it's Top Gear, no one gives a rats ass who downloads it, because the UK isn't backwards enough to bite the hand that feeds them. That and... we have a $$$$$$$$$$ plugin? this will be the second time I've ever seen that lol

technically, I've had many "C&D" complaints, orders, but shaw/telus/novus (basically whatever ISP i'm on up here) always sends me written mail telling them to fuck off since we're in Canada :)

it's James May... you're supposed to use his awesome boring-ness to sleep... but far be it for me to tell you what your attention span should be.

bump, finished watching this dvd, and the May vids.

This Jeremy Clarkson DVD is less fucking around than usual, but still good, as usual.

The James May show, is like most people said KINDA boring, only good if you like the shit May says lol

KingDeeCee 11-15-2010 11:25 PM

Wow that James May show is boring. I actually fell asleep -.-

^ya, good thing it was only 3 eps, i wouldn't have watched anymore
i watched some of may's other stuff. the show with the toys was good; so was the one about rockets and outer space

bloodmack 11-16-2010 09:40 AM

You should watch the one where james may goes into space. And also the one when hammond visits Evel Knievel. I thought those were pretty interesting. Not super car show types but still cool nonetheless.

they're great presenters when it comes down to it. That's what makes top gear so much more special for everyone.
