Macbook help

Longstory short I installed a new hard drive in comp and cloned my old drive and used time machine to restore it to the new drive when I installed the OS. Everything works fine but now I cant open iTunes. I changed the name of my hard drive and thought that may be the problem but it still will not open even though I changed it back.

Ideas?

Thanks in Advance

Can you try downloading iTunes and installing it?

I refuse to use any version of itunes about version 5 for my own reasons, and could reinstall it, but I guess I was more worried about the root cause of the problem as to avoid it from happening again.

Thanks though.

I remember having issues with time machine and itunes, they don't play well with each other.

Next time use Carbon Copy Cloner to clone your drive.
It lets you create an exact bootable copy of your HD. All you have to do is swap the drives and your system will be up and running.

It's the best solution when upgrading your HD and you want to keep all your data. It's also a lot faster than installing and using time machine.

Time machine is still very useful for backing up data, but not for data migration.
