Need head gasket replaced

Well my wifes car (2005 nissan sentra ) found out she needs her head gasket replaced, Hopefully that is all, but from Kaltire they said it would roughly cost $2000 , Im just wondering if any one knew any cheaper places to take it too.
thanks

if your car is serviced regularly at a nissan dealership, see if they will good will a fix for you.. 5 year old car shouldn't do that unless you have beat the crap out of it.

get to a proper shop.. get it to do a leak down compression test.. and go from there..

the cheapest will be to diy typically 800?

we are in richmond and can help you for considerably less I'm sure but I'd check for recalls or possible warranty service being it is only a 5 y/o car.
