Spoiler removal and covering holes
 
I want to remove the factory spoiler off my 2005 acura TL and cover the holes. I've been quoted estimates over $400 to weld the holes and re paint the trunk lid. Does this sound reasonable? Are there any other options or any body shop recommendations? The colour is pearl white. Thanks in advance!

That is very reasonable but be sure the shop your using isn't going to just tape up the holes skim over with body filler and paint. I've seen far to many cheaper shops do this.
