Top Restaurants in Vancouver

What do you guys suggest as one of the top restaurants in Vancouver in 2010? Non-Japanese/Korean/Chinese.

I was going to take some family members that are visiting Vancouver to either Lumiere or West. I've personally have had good experiences at both restaurants in the past.

However, after reading some recent reviews, it looks like both places have changed head chef's and now the reviews are quite mixed..

Thanks

West, Le Crocodile, Blue Water, those three you really can't go wrong.

Shore Club is also great, I like to go there on special occasions with the lady.
It's not cheap.

teahouse in stanley park. Gotham's steakhouse, cin cin, The cannery (although it did go down hill a bit. I heard they closed down or something due to commercial use of the area by ship?)

I agree with Le Croc, get the bone marrow appetizer, it's nothing short of orgasmic.

The Cannery has closed as of late March. Their lease ran out with the Port Authority and it would have cost too much to stay.

Le Croc was fantastic when I took my girl there for our anniversary. Fantastic food, service, good ambiance. Would go again if I didn't live in Surrey and it wasn't such a pain to get downtown.

I genuinely miss the cannery's bread with the lobster vinaigrette? I don't remember what it was exactly I just remember it being the highlight of my meal lol.

the head chef at the cannery has opened his own restaurant on kingsway called pink peppercorn and pretty much has the same menu as the cannery did but cheaper! and yes they have the lobster oil there!

le Crocodile gets my vote.

If I had to pick one place? Le Crocodile for sure.

Depends what kind of food you want though. For example, if you want Italian definitely either Cioppino, Il Giordino or Mangia e Bevi. Without any more information though, definitely Le Croc.

Look at that yummy cleavage. Is she local? She should be Vancouver's top restaurant.

Les Faux Bourgeois has got to be one of my favourite spots in town. Excellent food without the high end prices.

It's an excellent date spot as well. Just make sure you get reservations because the place gets packed real fast.
