Problem programming new Compustar Remote

Just brought a new compustar remote to replace my broken remote. I can't seem to program it (Cycled from Acc to On 5 Times then press the lock button on the remotes).

My old remote had the model number 2w900FMR (3000) the new one has 2w900fmr-3a.

any help would be much appreciated!

Are you leaving it in the "ON" position on the 5th cycle? Do you hear a relay clicking?

yes and yes

Might be a remote issue. I've had some BNIB compustar remotes not program before, swapped them with another one (same model) and it programmed.

Make sure you antenna is plugged in on both ends.

I too have seen 'some' issues with brand new remotes. Thankfully, Compustar has a fantastic warranty that any of the sponsors here can take of. :)
