all he says is 'fucking' every other word. the lack of emotion in his tone is kinda surprising!

I don't think anyone cares how much he curses. What I did notice was that during the losing streak he kept saying the same shit over and over. "Show some fucking heart" "You guys are acting like you already lost" "Quit acting like a bunch of prima donna's"

Only towards the end did he actually try a different approach and *poof* streak over.

Of course we didn't see everything but the things they showed in the locker room, just seemed like he kept saying the same shit over and over.

there was one about the edmonton oilers few weeks ago on sportsnet, documentary behind the scenes, that one was pretty good too

maybe if youre hitting it with your purse. these guys pass harder than most of us shoot... and they are aerial/saucer passes, so most of them made it to their intended target. the issue was stick handling... which is why you saw the coaches telling their players to shoot shoot shoot.


regardless, it was a great series and i hope HBO sees enough results from it to want to do it again. the NHL had to BEG them to do it.

can you imagine if CBC put that much funding into a 24/7 type show between the Canucks/Leafs? Ratings would be through the roof! Biggest hockey market in the world vs best canadian team

the cbc wouldnt even pay $100,000 to keep the HNIC theme song. hahaha.

but yeah, it would be astronomical. the canada/usa gold medal game had the highest viewership of any other program in the history of canadian television. a series like this would be amazing. i hope this is the first year of many.

no matter how much funding is put into this, the CBC would never air, cut or edit the program the way HBO did it. It was lots of RAW audio, and emotion that if the CBC were to air it, all the traditional bastards would be all over their ass on it. Don Cherry gives them enough of a hassle, the CBC doesn't need this.

I dont think the regular family would like to hear "BRING IT THE FUCK ON YOU FUCKING PUSSY" at 8pm primetime.
