3D TVs

Did a search, didn't find anything on em.

So, anyone get one yet? Anyone looking?

I got a PS3 and just bought GT5, some I'm really thinking about it...

This seems pretty cheap:

My parents bought one. I brought my PS3 over to their place and tried a few PSN games that the TV came with (as a download code). Wipeout HD looked awesome but the other games didn't seem too different to me.

IMO it's a waste of money. Sure, we watched the 3d movies it came with but after that initial "cool" moment, they haven't even used it for any other 3d content since then. The selection for 3d movies sucks ass and you'll need a new A/V receiver too.

I'd save some money and just get a regular/LED LCD.

^ which tv did they get?
See this wouldn't be my primary tv, I'd be in my room, so won't even be hooking up a receiver. I got some logitechs that I'd route through my PS3 and play gt5, littlebigplanet2, killzone 3. I'm not entirely sold on 3d movies, but for 788, I'd get one for gaming.

720p 3D? I'd skip that one... does not look promising. I'd pony up for the full 1080p model...

I 2nd that too.

I'm pretty sure GT5 is 1080P

I would choose a regular 1080P over a 720P 3D TV any day.

But if 1080P 3D vs 720P 3D.... it's a given

Sony 3D is meh at best. Samsung's and Panasonic's are much better.
