MPH Cluster ----> KM/H cluster???

Hello all,

Just looking at picking up a 2002 CRV from the states. It has the MPH speed on the outter ring and you can barely see the km/h on the inside. If I can find a km/h speedo can I just swap it right over? I have plugged in JDM clusters with no issues obviously, but is there any problem with changing from MPH to km/h?

Has anyone swapped a MPH cluster for a KM/H?

im pretty sure you can.....if it was a bmw it would be a pain in the ass

Plug and play everything is internal in the cluster.

How much did you find the CRV for and from where?

Berz out.

Very simple change over, you should be able to find a DIY on Honda-tech if you need a guide to follow. The key is finding a cluster with a similar odometer reading.

i've done it on a subaru but not on a honda. it was just plug and play for me though.

if you are going to correct the odometer, i would go here (where i got the one i swapped done):

http://www.tacomaspeedometer.com/index/

be sure you have documentation at hand proving the mileage is legit.

my moms CRV has mph on the outer and km/h on the inner imo you dont need to get a new cluster ive driven it a few times and have had no problem. i think ur just going to be doing unnecessary work

you can, but the OP can't. he states in the original posts that he finds the km/h too small to read for him... hence the need to swap.

Just open it up and get some small red circle stickers from the dollar store to mark off important speeds. ie. 50km/h and 100km/h lol

is there something aftermarket that might work? like some kmh indiglo gauges or similar? i'm not that familiar with crvs.

CRV cluster is just 85 dollars at JK at Mitchell Island. Takes you 10min to swap out the old one.

Thats the lowest odometer reset price I've ever seen by a significant number, thanks. I'll be posting that link up on a couple other forums.
