The Speed Camera Lottery - The Fun Theory |
Cool idea! |
These are the other ideas that were made http://www.youtube.com/user/Rolighetsteorin#p/u/1/cbEKAwCoCKw http://www.youtube.com/user/Rolighetsteorin#p/u/2/zSiHjMU-MUo |

I don't think the lottery really has anything to do with it. Everytime I see one of those digital speed meters I instantly slow down.. Because it just flashes and you get scared it's a cop and you slow down. like the one at UBC on East mall. You can't see it and then it flashes only if you start to speed. Though I find myself always driving slower after I see it... |
Now those piano stairs would be real fun to walk up, but they'd probably get real annoying after a while. |

No kidding yea, it's amazing people are willing to line up for the elevator. Even sadder to see younger people doing it. Reminds me of people lining up for elevator at production station after getting off 145. |
very positive way to change the way people drive. thumbs up indeed! |

But it also punishes them. if citations werent handed out less people would obey for that lottery. |

Yeah, in this case, it's really not the "fun" that makes it effective, it's the penalties and incentives. |
Should make one of these and put it on Hwy 1 east of 160. My odds of winning a lot of money would be crazy high! |
Here in abby we get alot of those speed signs but I've never seen a cop. Usually when its late at night I try to set high scores :D |

There's one of those digi-speedometers with a flash on this side street in Richmond by the 7-11 on no2 road and between Francis and Williams. |
