Nice Plaid Cashmere Scarves

Hi, I searched but only found a vague thread about scarves from 09. I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions as to where I could get a nice plaid cashmere scarf.

I already know burberry, but any other places? Online or locally. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I've seen some cashmere scarves at Harry Rosen. You might want to check there.

I got some from J Crew. Shipping to Canada is expensive so you should buy at least 4-5 to make the shipping worth it.

^Shipping is expensive, so you bought 5..

Winners has cashmere on sale, its not Burberry or Harry Rosen quality but it might be good enough for a simple scarf.

Be careful with cheap cashmere. Rub the fabric between your fingers and then feel your fingers. If your giners are greasy, it is probably cheap cashmere treated with oils to make it feel softer than it really is.

Lacoste has some in plaid.

I got a itchy wool one from the bay lol, but they might have cashmere

I didn't say I bought 5. I'm just saying it's retarded if you're going to pay $50 shipping on a $30 scarf.

thanks everyone for your suggestions I'll be checking all these places out. If there's any other suggestions I would love to hear about them

Shipping to Canada is silly expensive.. the idea of buying five scarves instead of one because shipping is expensive just seemed a bit ironic lol

Keep us updated, I wouldn't mind picking up a reasonably priced cashmere scarf.

there is that cashmere store in tinseltown. They carry sweaters and more. I am pretty sure they are still there.

the_rickster 12-14-2010 03:24 PM

fine mens wear stores will have them. harry rosen, madisons, staccato. maybe try obakki in gastown.
