Waxing plastic taillights??

Hi all, I just got my new tail lights, just wondering if i can wax plactic, i will be using NXT meguiars, i also have the meguiars plastx for headlight restoration, but these new headlights dont need restoration, the plastx does leave a wax-ish rain repel after applying it though...

You can wax them all you want as it doesnt take material off. Just know the difference between a wax and polish. The headlight restoration kits work but the headlight will always fade backfaster then it would have if it were taken care of from the start.(not saying thats from you) This is because the outer plastic onn most headlights is like a hard shell for the softer inner plastic. That rain reppelant characteristic is just from the surface being very smooth, you still have to wax them to keep them up.

Just make sure not to get it in the jams/seals as it can be a bitch to get those yucky white marks out

Yes, you can use wax or sealant on plastic tail lights. As stated, put it on thin and use an old toothbrush or something similar to remove any wax from cracks etc.
