MW2 is one of the best selling games of 2010, so that's why some people include it with games of the year lists.

The game sold over 5 million copies, plenty of people have played it. I have it and for me it just isn't a contender this year.

Dragon Age: Origins, Modern Warfare 2, Resident Evil 5 = 2009 games.

Regardless whether MW2 sold a decent amount this year, it doesn't qualify for any 2010 GOTY nominations.

both really qualify for GOTY and biggest disappointments in my book haha
