Peacoat: Mantique or Club Monaco
 

Looking to purchase a peacoat and like the ones at mantique and club monaco.

price at CM is about 280 while Mantique is 249.

has anyone bought anything from Mantique? how is the quality? I was told the peacoat was cut by the same ppl that cut London Fog.

CM > mantique imo. Gf works @ CM and their stuff is pretty nice. Check out J2 as well for peacoats.

Most of their shit is pretty gay.

mantique is horrible imo. just from the initial feel of the material you can already tell. CM styling and quality is much better, but generally their stuff is overpriced. both those coats will most likely hit the sales rack real soon.

I don't quite like Mantique coats. They're a little cheaper, and the quality is reflected on over time.

+1 for Club Monaco! I've got a bunch of dressy stuff from them, but have yet to pick up a peacoat!

what do you mean "over time" how much time .. 1-1.5 years?

club monaco has 20% discounts for students. you just need a student id. if your not going to school just find a buddy.

stay away from the Mantique at metro.

Try out RW & Co. if you want alternatives. I got a nice peacoat from there. Pretty good quality as well.

50 percent @ cm for employees. CM stuff is over priced and quality is average. Plus there stuff always goes on sale except for the regular black and white dress shirts.
