Looking for a Volvo Mechanic - Lambda Light
 

Hey Guys,

I am looking for a Volvo Mechanic to diagnose and fix my dads Volvo. The car is a 1993 Volvo 850 GLT. It has an issue with the car stalling while driving.:rolleyes:

The Lambda light sensor is "on" in the dash and we suspect the problem to be with the camshaft position sensor.

Looking to pay for a mechanic who can diagnose and fix the car. The plan is to sell the car once it has been fixed.

Anyone who can help besides taking the car to a Volvo dealership..

Koon's on Venables is well known reliable place to get older Volvo serviced.

I had to disconnect a bunch of stuff to take the dash off my friend's 850 to change some light bulbs. Didn't realize I was supposed to disconnect the battery or one of the diagnostic lights would turn on.

Called a bunch of shops (Volvo specific) and oddly enough the best service and price came from the dealership in Port Coquitlam.
