A lot of people call this parents spoiling their kids but this can be an excellent form of parenting so long as they explain thoroughly the situation to the kid. You probably heard his dad explain that he can take the car away just as quickly as he gave it to him.

Trust me, I know from experience, once such things are taken away from you after you have them, you never fuck up again because you realize how great such a lifestyle is and that working hard for it is truly worth it.

^ thats true, i remember i got a 1400 dollar laptop when i was 16 and i fucked my math grade that year and my dad took it away and i felt like shit for the longest time and it was lesson learned..i always planned my study time and my computer time after that.

If i was the dad i would follow him around ( without him knowing) just so that i can see the way he drives when hes alone/with friends, so that if he drives bad i could just take it away. He could replace the car but he cant replace a dead son.

same thing kinda happed to me.

got a $2800 laptop from my grandmother and a new car from my parents for getting into university.

Then I did really really really bad in my first year because I skipped classes and didn't really care. I got really low marks at the end of the year, and I felt bad for the people who cared about me. Then I hated myself.

My parents still don't know about this since they never asked about my marks.

But after going through all of that, I tried in 2nd year and finally found my groove in my 3rd year. My marks aren't where I want them to be, but they are surely an improved compared to my first and half year.

So technically giving expensive gifts can have a positive or negative effect on the child. It all depends..

Pretty sure the dad can easily follow his son without him knowing... But if i was the kid i'd drive like a douche bag.

Lucky kid, seems like a good family. He doesn't seem like a douchebag in the video.

He seemed like a kid who deserved that car not a spoiled brat! Some rich fucks are happy but not grateful for what they have, this kid on the other hand feels that he is blessed to have such a car even though his family is already so well off.

On the other hand hes gunna bump this in his whip all daaaaaaay

Dude I would LOVE a Juke for a first car! Torque-vectoring AWD, 190hp turbo direct injection, saving me a shit ton of gas while making far more than enough power to get me into trouble. You could make it a fair bit faster on a kid's budget too with that FI.

This is pretty stupid. This is revscene, where most of you guys hate on kids/teenagers that get their first car from their parents. Wtf happened this time?
