Brake shoe re-lining in Van?

So.. I remember hearing about some old school shop in Burnaby, I believe, that still lines old brake shoes with new material. I'm looking for some custom brake shoes for my little race car but can't remember where the hell this shop is.

Any ideas?

I don't know if it is worth it, since a new set of shoes eg Civics are only $30. If the shoes are worn, they might tell you that they cannot be relined so you are back at square one.

Godwin - I'm not looking for stock shoes.. Carbotech does something similar to what I need.. Don't think $30 would buy a single Carbotech shoe lol..

Thanks narfy, I'll get in touch with them!

There used to be a place called Morgan Brake just off Boundary and Grandview on the Vancouver side. They moved a few years ago to their present location off River Road just east of the Knight Street Bridge. All of their work is for industrial applications, they won't do automotive due to liability concerns plus they can't compete with the cheaper off shore auto parts pricing.
