Absolutely amazing CGI, the best I've ever seen.

Great two season series of short films by various FX studios.
great shorts! But I thought season 1 was better overall.

Army of the dead. 8/10
action packed, decent flow. 2.5 hrs was legit and worthy a watch.
few emotional strings which was meh but all in all..

good to see good movies being made with some solid action.

All the marketing of that zombie movie on UFC and WWE made me not want to watch it. Anyone else watch it and thought it was good?

I enjoyed it. Nothing super amazing, but was kept entertained throughout the runtime. Didn't notice the above average runtime, which usually means it was good? or not boring at least :P

Some concepts and ideas that I wish they explored a bit more on, or set ups that weren't concluded in a fully satisfying way.

Master of None Season 3.

Good, but Aziz is barely in it (likely due to the whole canceling of him).

Not as good as the prior seasons, but worth a watch if you're into artsy style film.

Army of the dead - forgettable I don't know 3 maybe

I've always said that with movies like this I'll ignore bad acting and story for good action. For me it failed on all fronts.

Too many plot holes in army of the dead... to the point it was kind of distracting. But the visuals and violence were pretty epic.

The first 15 minutes was the best part of the movie. Pretty much a slow decline from there

These are the reviews I was expecting to see

I would have been blown away if the movie was any good

I'd rather spend 2 hours on Netflix watching old Stephen Chow movies or something (BTW they have TONS of them)

Army of the dead - 7/10

there's some useless actors who really add nothing to the story, i'm talking about the guys daughter who joined in.

and the tiger was overhyped. what was that? 1 minute of screen time,i kinda wanted to see it fuck people up left and right.

for a $70–90 million budget its really not alot of substance compared to other zombie films like Dawn of the dead that was really a huge fucking adventure that cost 26 million to produce.

Started watching Sweet Tooth last night. Seems like a good show to stick with. I enjoyed the first few eps anyway.

Also watching Invincible when it’s possible. Not exactly kid friendly so we have to pick our spots which has made it a big of a slow go. I’m into it though.

Bo Burnham - inside was great.

Not your typical comedy special, but super creative when you realize how much work went into each song/skit.

8/10 enjoyment
10/10 creativity

Did anyone watch that Bo Burnham special "Inside"?

People were calling it a classic, yet I put the thing on, and my GF and I had to turn it off 5 minutes in.

I've never found this guy funny, perhaps I'm not within his audience, never been a fan of song comedy (at least since I was a kid, Weird Al, and such).

Just came across this and I went straight into OMFG mode:

Might really have to shell out the dough and get myself a subscription to binge watch this. The drawing style as well as the brief scenes seem to suggest that it is targeted at an older audience group instead of younger teens. Heck, I bet kids these days wouldn't even know what He-man and Masters of the Universe is, so it might just be something meant for us old farts to begin with.

Hahaha yah.. "They-Person"... "I have the power!!!"... but they won't use it to gain advantage over you in any way... and certainly not white power, that's not what They-Person meant at all
