Pioneer Z110 Video Playback Problem

I tried to play a video with .avi extension which I downloaded from the internet on my Pioneer Z110 using either SD card or USB but it always gives me warning that the movie resolution is not playable in the unit. Any idea what's the problem here? Do I need to convert the file into a smaller resolution to be able to be played in my Z110?

AVI's can only be played with a cd on that deck.

DVD, MP3, CD are able to be played on those devises. .mkv? I don't remember seeing that as an option for that deck. Maybe check AVIC411.com for more info...
