rotors/pads in vancouver

hi, i have a g35 04 coupe w/ the brembo package that needs the rotors and pads replaced.

anyone know of a shop in vancouver that sells these? looking to replace all 4 rotors despite only 1 being warped because the brembo rotors cost an arm and a leg.

thanks!

go on http://g35driver.com/forums/ you will find the best deals on there at their Marketplace, you won't find any shops that carry that in stock locally, and even if they do it will cost hundreds of dollars more than getting it from the states.

Over 3 years I've had to get almost ever single fuckin part for my G ordered from the states, local shops here are not focused at all on the VQ platform

thanks, i think i will have to order the parts in. tried calling a bunch of shops and they quoted me pretty much like you said. kinda disappointing really.

which site do you order your parts from? i already have a few leads lined up from g35driver (like r1concepts) but still open to other options.

do you get charged customs when you make an order?

R1 concepts are the best bang for the buck brakes you can get from G35 driver and eBay, I highly suggest you go for them, I have their whole setup and a lot of other G drivers as well without complaints.

just have them ship via USPS which is United States Postal Service, that way when it crosses the border Canada Post takes it over and you don't have to deal with ridiculous fees that UPS or FedEx charges at your door

gonna give one more lead a visit tomorrow. salesman was talking to me on the phone about kiriu rotors, ever heard of them? they're supposed to be the manufacturers of nissan OEM rotors. and are more affordable - $100 a pair.
was thinking of checking out if they match my rear brembo OEM rotors, if they do match and pass quality i think it is worth buying a rear set vs replacing all four rotors with r1's.

if they dont, then i'm making an order at r1 straight after.

are the earlier gen(03-04) g35 really that bad to maintain?

zoro 01-03-2011 08:45 AM

not really, just normal wear and tear..plus i bought the car second hand so i was ready to shell out a few bucks for repairs/replacements here and there as well.

the only difficulty im having is getting parts but i guess thats true with most replacements that aren't stocked here in vancouver?? have to order the from across the border.

we can supply a number of products from EBC and Stillen. Maybe Powerslot as well.
