Stylish Camera Bag

In the market for a new camera bag, don't want to use the "M" word but something along the lines of a Billingham hadley small/large

I already have a crumpler 6 million dollar home but it's quite deep and the velcro isn't great for when I'm just walking around town, it still shouts camera bag haha. I also have a Kata 3 in 1 if I'm doing some heavy travelling where I need to bring all my camera gear. Speaking of which my new 70-300 takes up 2 spaces in that bag as it doesn't have the same depth as the crumpler :'(

The billinghams are way too expensive for me. Budget probably around $60 I want something that I don't mind taking out everyday with me, room for my 7D + sigma 17-70 + a prime lens is good enough.

My crumpler has the velcro silencer. Guess you have an earlier model.

Might be a bit over budget for you, and I think they're ugly as hell, but the Think Tank Retrospective series have been a huge seller for us.

Yeah I got my crumpler from beau I think many many years ago. It was around $70 IIRC

That fabric is kinda bland, I think I'd rather shell out an extra $50 and get the billingham over the think tank. At least the billingham has some fancy touches like leather and brass. But I do like the inconspicuousness of the think tank

Have you ever looked at the National Geographic series bags. Most of them are on sale at Broadway Camera. I believe they have the African series online.

Took a look at the ones broadway has but they look like they're for hippies, I'm not against them, that's actually much more in the direction I'd like to go. Inconspicuous, but the fabric colour I'm not a fan of.

You're a picky one, aren't you? :p

How about the Think Tank Urban Disguise series?

Best option for you would be to use whatever messenger bag you have and buy those foam/velcro dividers.

style always screws up functionality. and you get to pay more. lose-lose.

Spotted this sweet Canon EOS Professional bag this summer in Taiwan.
Looks kind of similar to the Kata 3N1-## series.

No idea what it's called in English, but my GF found it for me on some Taiwanese bidding site.
Senna have you seen this bag before?

It's probably some knockoff.

Oo nice size on that bag

Right now I'm leaning towards the 4 million dollar home which meets my size requirements, the style isn't really anything to write home about, reminds me of a lunch bag I used to have when I was in grade 3... but at least its noticeably more casual. I think I might DIY some velcro silencers on my old 6 million dollar home though lol

I was in the market for a bag that was similar to the billinghams as well but I realized alot of the functionality was sacrificed just for the looks.

So I was looking around for awhile and kinda found a compromise, it doesn't have that "soft" look but it doesn't look like a camera bag and holds virtually everything I need to carry.
