When things from other studies apply to what we have here in BC, they are worthy of consideration...when they are just studies currently being conducted, with no statistical vetted conclusions, in the politically charged State of New Jersey, then I will wait to see if anything valid for even NJ comes from them, let alone something valid for BC. If it is valid, then it is valid...but they are not even close to that yet in Jersey Shore. |

my friend has Veteran Plates. He's only 35. People laugh when they see it and ask why he's driving his daddy's car - but don't realize that you don't have to be from WWII to have Vet Plates. |

Point is, she's considered a vet; overseas deployment is not a requirement. |
My 97 year old father, vet of WW2 has them on his car...but I do the driving these days for him. |
Does that C.A.T. program still exist? All the stickers I see for it seem to be old; you never hear anything about it anymore. Did it just fizzle away, or what? |

Do what Finland and Italy does for their young drivers: Mandatory in-class lessons, driving sessions, then an obsticle course at the end to determine. (on a closed course) I think the class 5 lessons are a joke. If you're lucky, or book it in certain municipalities and certain times, then the drive's usually pretty easy. Rarely do you have to actually think outside of the box. It barely reflects on what/how/when/why to do in real world conditions. Simply put: most drivers nowadays do NOT know what to do during poor road/weather conditions and impending collisions. All everyone does is slam the brakes and say a few hail marys. |

if none of the 22 people killed were teenagers, that means the N sign works right...? :bcrdukes: |
Right, because not putting up your N sign increases your chances of being in a crash. |
I always give N and especially L drivers extra room.. so makes sense. |
So what's next, an "I" sign for "Immature" drivers? :troll: |

we could go totally nucking futs and have everyone have a sticker, class 5 gets a 5, 1 could get a Semi or an Air Brake Picture.. and then everyone on the road would have a sticker and we could judge them all on the sticker they have. /jk |
Actually I'd like to see different plates available for people who have had 10 years of ticket/collision free driving. |
i don't know what the point of that would be. 10 years of ticket/collision free could just mean you are really really lucky. you could still drive like an a**hole on the road, cutting people off - would the sign just say - "I'm allowed to do it, because I'm a safe driver." that being said - I would be eligible for that sign :troll: |
