Dual Monitor

quick question, is it possible to have 2 sets of mouse and keyboard connected to one computer tower so that 1 set responds to each individual dual monitor? IE one set of mouse and keyboard can respond to a full screen game on monitor one and the other set say responds to monitor two with your IMs?

I've never heard of that. You would also have to run your game in a windowed mode, which would be really hard on your computer as well. There are programs that allow you to control two computers with one mouse/keyboard, but I've never seen the reverse.

You'll need a special switch.

well the purpose is that if i was to play in a full screen game, i would just like to pause it and use the other set and monitor to reply per say. that way i won't have to alt tab and such to get in and out just to reply. thats just one of the reasons i want to see if this set up is possible.

Not possible with 1 machine with dual monitors.
