Most of the R's I came across were either ratbagged or out of province models.

As for that one you posted... Sure, it may be in a super rare colour, but yellow is fugly as hell, especially for a wagon. It's like VW Corrado's in "Ice Grey Violet." Sure, it's a super rare, Canada-only colour... but it's still fucking purple, no matter what you call it. :lol

The motor in that thing is a slut... And it's beastly. I'll link some vids if I can find it.

Ya I agree. I've seen a few on CL and they sound/look like they've seen better days. Either way, you can make a T5 into a T5r relatively easy motor wise. The car I posted I just know was built well that's all. And I believe is pushing close to 300..

Nice looking Car:)

skylinergtr 01-23-2011 07:57 PM

i got my 740 today :)

excuse the pictures. the car was filthy when i got it. i did clean up the interior now, and the exterior will be cleaned sometime next week. it sure does drive good and that manual transmission is a night and day difference with my old 740 automatic.

Woah, I've never seen that weird reverse back seat before. Does it have seatbelts, is it legal for passengers when you're moving?

yup it has seatbelts to the side of it if you look at the pic. it is fully legal. I remmeber riding around in parents of friends car's like this when i was a kid.

personally nobody under the height of 5' 5" is going to be comfortable. I have shoved one of my shorter friends in the back of my old one so that he could just wave at random people. haha

GabAlmighty 01-24-2011 05:05 PM

And they look sketch as all hell. The guy I bought my wagon from had them in his wagon but took them out, stating he'd never put one of his kids in there:P

Either way they're still cool.

donjalapeno 01-24-2011 05:45 PM

they have them in taurus wagons aswell, i remember when i was young we took a road trip from ottawa too niagara falls and i had too puke every 10k because everything is moving this way >>>> but your sitting this way <<<< so it made you sick. It was awful
