Funny Korean guy making "The King's Dessert"

I figure Revscene might like it. Because you know, there is an Asian guy being funny in it. :fullofwin:

AzNightmare 01-08-2011 04:19 PM

Is this different from Dragon's Beard??

midnight_r 01-08-2011 05:10 PM

'OMG' =)

his voice reminds me of that polish/russian chef from MUPPETS

GabAlmighty 01-08-2011 05:49 PM

I wouldn't say he's the funniest guy in the world. But he's definitely good for a chuckle and seems like a happy fellow. We need more people like him in the world.

asian_XL 01-08-2011 06:37 PM

let a brown guy do the same thing, it will be 2x funnier

murd0c 01-08-2011 06:41 PM

So what is this Dessert? get strands of money in Corn starch and you get to pick one of 3 flavours but do they deep fry it or what?

R&R 01-08-2011 06:54 PM

ShadowBun 01-09-2011 01:03 AM

jpark 01-09-2011 02:02 AM

i can speak with that accent whenever i want

bcedhk 01-09-2011 02:28 PM

this kinda stall is all over tourist traps in korea. theses guys are trained to learn 10+ language (well usually learning the basics like hello, bye, and the ingredient names) and then attracting tourist to buy their overpriced dragon beard candy.

i guess for us vancouverites is nothing special cause we see it in all asian markets

Half-true. Sure you can buy this stuff here, but you can't get the performance artistry here.

InvisibleSoul 01-09-2011 05:05 PM

He's got great personality... very entertaining.

Nightwalker 01-09-2011 05:32 PM

Ok, so at least I'm not the only one who thought of this.
But don't think he could be a wing man, he'd totally overshadow my game.

Sam is in Macau now running his little egg puff stand there.
My family went on vacation during the olympics and had a little chat with him. it's very weird to meet a pseudo vancouver celeb in some a wet rainy alley in asia.

Groot 01-09-2011 07:40 PM

"in engilishuu, OHHHHH MY GAWWDDDDUUUUU O.M.G." LOL :haha:

vafanculo 01-10-2011 04:23 AM

5000 won for 10? That's like $4.50.

Isn't that cheaper than Richmond Night Market?
