- smuggling contraband inside food to pass through borders
- sneaking objects of interest to inmates in prisons (eg, the ol' key inside the birthday cake trick)
- putting an object inside food in an attempt to kill someone (if it wasn't illegal, in court, the person being tried for murder can claim that s/he didn't intend to kill the other person, since the object inside the food wasn't meant to kill)

some of you guys are as bad as what you make americans out to be! sure, in this case, it was a genuine kinder surprise toy. but customs officials don't fuck around; for the wages that they get paid, there's no holds barred - they enforce regulations to the tee

So you're saying these should be illegal too?

^ but arent those solid inside? and also they dont have toys.

fliptuner 01-11-2011 08:20 PM

What I meant was that they're just as easy to hack for smuggling. The inside is like liquid marshmallow.

Apparently gun control < Kinder Surprise control.

Volvo-brickster 01-11-2011 08:53 PM

Guns dont kill people...kinder surprises do

Anjew 01-11-2011 09:30 PM

i really dont think its because of smuggling... i really think the damn border agents are just fucking full of themselves.

MindBomber 01-12-2011 01:36 AM

My honest opinion.

The American's are so broke after years of mismanaging their resources, they've started seizing our beloved kinder eggs to feed their obese army with.

FerrariEnzo 01-12-2011 06:14 AM

wow.. so the americans have never heard of Kinder Surprise, or at least the newer aged generations.. haha

my kids love them.. always get them when i go to superstore...

Jayhall 01-12-2011 09:42 AM

"land of the free"

unless you want a chocolate treat, that shit could kill you. The worst kind of laws are those put in place to protect the people from themselves. Why arent we letting the people who are dumb enough to choke on a toy just choke on a toy already?

buddy 01-12-2011 09:52 AM

the way their economy is, they will do absolutely anything to make an extra buck

StylinRed 01-12-2011 10:06 AM

Are american children extra stupid?

Are they gonna ban that japanese fizzing pop with the marble inside because the marble will pose as a choking hazard? I'm gonna try to bring one of these across the border next time and see if i get in shit.

i actually must say i tried one recently, and well they're WAY easier to open
and they don't taste good

the plastic holder thing i mean.

fucking /end thread right here!

revenue generated from kinder surprise fines will surely help boost the US economy.

IMASA 01-12-2011 11:22 PM

what about cracker jacks? Don't they have a toy inside the box as well? I wonder if those are illegal.

I got one the other day. Open it up and I got a fucking puzzle?!? Yea right, get real. What is this garbage?

Gt-R R34 01-12-2011 11:38 PM

the thing is, we've all watch videos of dumb, and i mean really dumb stuff. I won't be surprised if some one eats the egg by just popping in their mouth, not bothering with checking.

Just look at the size of some of the children down there....

Not likely, given that the problem they have with Kinders is that the toy is INSIDE the edible egg shell. Totally different from a toy sitting inside a box with the edible contents.

Gesus 01-13-2011 05:29 PM

these cheap ass americans just wanted to bring it home for their kids

johny 01-15-2011 04:26 PM

so what happens if I buy on here, eat it, stick the toy in my pocket, and head south?

is the toy not the illegal part?... since that is what causes the choking?.. but they are only looking for eggs.

StaxBundlez 01-15-2011 06:37 PM

Silly Americans..

Nightwalker 01-15-2011 11:33 PM

I reposted this and a person in Chicago says they can get them down the street. Hmmmmm

Wonder how many shops are bootlegging these bad boys down there!

Mananetwork 01-16-2011 12:41 AM

I almost chocked on a kinder egg. True story
