Hopefully Mods won't mind i'm directing to clublexus forum. But its some pretty serious stuff about Ichiba Spacers!

Everyone should be careful! And think twice when installing them on your car. I have H&R 25mm so far so good for 1.5 years. But this definitely makes me wonder...

wobble/vibrations wouldn't make metal crack, more likely an impact.

I bet the OP hit a curb or something

i would believe they were over tightened.

I have ichibas on my car. been running them for a couple of months now with no problems like that. I think they were just mistreated someway.

depends on how much agressive use you will be applying on the spacers. with wheels spaced out farther from the hub, u will run a higher chance of something failing, its just how things are. im not saying everyone is going to have some sort of failure, but u still run a higher chance.

if all u plan on doing is daily driving, and do not plan on putting a lot of agressive use into the spacers, say trying to drift, or more than say a weekend autoX event, or even going offroading, they should be fine.

read the instructions on the adapter spacers, most likely they will ask u to torque to their spec (which i believe is about 5-10ft lbs more than most stock lug specs). never torque more than 100ft lbs, 90s is about as high as u should go anyways. and follow what ur factory spec is for torquing the lug nuts.

I have run 20mm H&R hubcentric spacers front and 10mm Vorshlag hubcentric spacers rear for over 3 years on my racecar with nothing but autocross, track, and hillclimb abuse for them and they perfect and as new. As always, the problem lies with either a) shitty product (no idea what Ichiba is but there is a LOT of popular crap floating around the JDM market, be aware of what you are buying, dont just buy hype) or b) incorrect use and installation.

well, ichiba is suppositely made in japan, and suppose to be one of the top adapter brands u can buy. H&R have always been proven.

i saw the pictures on clublexus, i wonder if they over torqued it or even used an impact gun.

You can't really judge from the pictures.. Might've been an installation problem.
But I've always tried to avoid spacers. Just something else in there that can go wrong.
If I had to, I'd go H&R adaptors..

Was he using hubcentric rings? Couldn't tell from the pics.

They all seemed to be cracked in the same area leading me to think over tightening if I had to guess. The fact that there isn't a ton of cases and stuff like this kinds of leads me to believe install error rather than manufacturer defect.
