You must be kidding me, I saw that exact car description with 2 people yesterday after badminton around 10pm.

OP's post said it happened around 1am though, so if you spotted them around 10pm, it'd seem like they left richmond and came back later at night. maybe went earlier to check some areas and stuff?

or did you spot them 3 seperate times, since you wrote spotted ____, then ____, then _____

either way, shouldn't be too hard to find. loud cars stand out enough on their own (even in a place like richmond), a riced out accord should make things even easier. i'll keep my eye out, best of luck OP

CP.AR 01-13-2011 05:16 PM

I'm always hanging around that area on the weekends, will definately keep an eye out

donjalapeno 01-13-2011 05:29 PM

Eros250 01-13-2011 05:30 PM

best of luck finding the guys,,

hopalong 01-13-2011 06:38 PM

hey i see that accord every morning in the richmond automall. the guy is super sketchy. middle eastern or something close. evertime i drove by in my ek he would always stare at me so i would set off my alarm to let him know i have 1. now i drive my suv to work and leave my hatch at home. im positive its him...dark brown or black accord with chrome rims. i see him around 720 am when i go to work. everytime i see him i always thinks somethings up...

Berzerker 01-13-2011 06:41 PM

That's why I keep a regulator by the door. Never leave the house without a weapon when confronting suspicious people. Worst comes to worse a well placed shot to the A pillar = write off to most cars. You tell ICBC what you did and they wait for someone to make a claim cuz it's hard as hell to fix.

Berz out.

Is it in employee lot behind Fenders? Or do you see it elsewhere? I'm also in that lot.

Kev

Thanks for the replies guys!

Hopefully we can spread the word around and get the message out that this car is going around scoping out cars to steal.

The more people who know about it, the better

I should have said that I first spotted them and then followed them along that route for a bit as I was heading home. If it was them, that definately looks like the shopping list run, and the 1am could be the crime time. Sounds like the 7:30am auto mall sightings could hold some fruit. RS stake out?

damn.. if it is an automall employee...

adambomb 01-13-2011 09:55 PM

I say cruise by the Richmond automall one morning, maybe a tuesday, probably around 9am. Do it early enough that everyone should have already showed up for work, yet too early to drive off for a coffee break. You should get a good scope of all the employee cars in that area.

Or go at 7am since that is when hopalong notice a potential suspect. :eek5x:

If you see the car, write down the plates, leave it up to the cops to see if its the right guy.

im assuming that was at the advice of the police to aid his search

SpuGen 01-14-2011 01:16 AM

If it's Brown with Black bumpers, and it's like REALLY Loud..
There's a similar guy like that down the block from me.
He comes by once in a while to pick up the Native guy Neighbour down the block.

I haven't seen it around lately, but I've also seen his car parked a few blocks away. Maybe he lives there? I don't know.

Always rips it up the block and revmatches for no reason.

Did the passenger look like a fat Native guy?

Kev

There's an accord of the same gen in the lot behind Fenders, but it's driven by an older asian man, with no fart can/altezzas/surrey rims.

Are you sure its him? The one with single piece headlights? That car is dark brown and is a white guy driving it. If I recall correctly he's got a huge exhaust, its lowered, not on chromes and with some drift charm dangly thing on his rear tow hook.
Unless you're talking about one thats similar to the one OP is talking about which is a lighter brown?

E-40six 01-14-2011 07:25 AM

Hey everyone

Thanks for the leads, I've followed up on some of them this morning, but no cookie so far on the exact match.

But keep them coming

Xavie 01-14-2011 03:15 PM

People should have noticed/taken the license plate number every time they saw a car that matchted the description, seriously...

Alright I'll keep an eye out as well. Is it usually parked on the far end? Like exactly behind fenders? Or beside the gas pumps?
