zomg learn2read yo! all along there near the cul de sac you can park. its not a major street so I'm not sure how busy it'll be. at 10am there should be spots though. We'll meet up by that cul-de-sac.

Senna I'm guess 24mm? I like to shoot wider

Oo haha I'm just not sure about whether it's allowed there aren't many signs by there IIRC so I'm guessing it's a free for all? Actually parked there once and took a pic of my car last summer by the cul de sac

In order to participate in RS photowalks, you must bring a minimum of $10,000 in gear.

If you ask Mananetwork nicely, he may bring his 45mm TS-E. If you ask ME nicely, I may bring my 17mm TS-E & 24mm TS-E. :)

I dunno....I'm feeling kinda large format lately...

Matsuda 01-20-2011 04:49 PM

I would recommend wearing hiking shoes or boots that day. You may need to get into the muck of things to get some good shots. We can do lunch in Steveston too if you guys are up for it

Dangerphoto 01-20-2011 06:06 PM

Muck with $$$ gear? Ohnoes!

Mashimaro 01-20-2011 08:12 PM

I hate unpredictable Vancouver Weather.

The Weather Network says it's going to piss down Friday - Environment Canada says chance of Rain on Friday... Weather Network says rain Saturday, and Environment Canada says Sun/Cloud Saturday.... who to trust..... NEITHER!!

Dangerphoto 01-24-2011 09:18 AM

I will be bringing 2 extras to shoot with us....this is going to be a huge turnout...RAIN OR SHINE GUYS! Time to test the weather sealing of your gear :troll:

RCubed 01-24-2011 09:19 AM

rain or shine.
my weather sealing is ziploc+garbage bags. :)

insomniac 01-24-2011 03:28 PM

I'm in. Vdub333 is in too but he may have to leave early.. Do you guys insulate your cameras or protect it from the rain/muk in anyway? Sorry, I'm a total noob.. In fact I just it my d90 on sat LOL :p

ddr 01-24-2011 03:55 PM

are ziploc/garbage bags enough to protect my non-weather sealed equipment?

Mananetwork 01-24-2011 06:04 PM

I'll bring out my 400mm 5.6 which I just put up for sale
