The reason your being "h8" on is because you gave unrealistic and bad advice.
Do you know why girls love "Chanel bags"? Same reason they like wedding rings with big fat diamonds. So they can female e-peen other girls and say "look at how much guys are willing to spend on me"
For a guy that can afford to give a bag like that it would be a total insult to a girl with two braincells to rub together. It shows no thought or effort put into it. I would rather take a girl on a trip or go somewhere she was curious about instead of buying her anything "name brand"

If what you say is true, then all girls are materialistic.

i'd rather be taken to places and do some fun/romantic activities than just get shut up by a Chanel purse. Feels like the guy has put no thought whatsoever into it.

I'd personally love just dining in or out, and enjoy a glass of wine...cooking the meal together sounds kinda interesting...hmmm

Uh, it's just a handbag. You guys are putting way too much thought into it.

If my boyfriend surprises me with a Chanel bag- I'm so happy to have received such a wonderful and iconic gift. I'm not thinking about how I'm going to go walk down the street showing off my bag and announcing my boyfriend was able to buy me something super expensive. How tacky is that?

If you guys want to try picking out a piece of jewelry your girlfriend will probably absolutely hate, be my guest!

All of my friends received jewelry from their boyfriends for Christmas and all of them absolutely hated what was picked out for them.

Sounds like your friends are ungrateful bitches. I'll bet their boyfriends worked their asses off to be able to buy what they did.

Yes I just called your friends ungrateful

Yeah.
It was funny because two of them got Tiffany's and one got a Pandora bracelet and all three of them complained to me.

I was lucky though, I got an awesome blazer and pair of shoes for Christmas. Very happy with my gifts

you know, maybe I just have been really fucking bitter yesterday and today, but girls that are ungrateful for the gifts their bfs give them really fucking pisses me off. The guy buys shit for you to make you happy....if he knew it wouldnt make you girls happy, he wouldnt buy you fuck all....

besides, your poon is no diffrent from those escorts that he sees when you're out with your "girlfriends" having a girls night out...

Uhh...I'm pretty sure thats exactly what you're thinking. What else would you be thinking? "Wow! This is going to hold my makeup so nicely!"? Get real.

Your sig broadcasting says it all....."I RANGE ROVERS'S" not once, not twice, but like TEN TIMES!?!?!. How tacky is that? Very tacky.

You get/buy nice material things, especially clothing and accessories to show them off. You may be humble, or you may be cocky, but thats what it comes down to.

^This chick knows what's up.

It's human nature for everyone to want those finer things that not everyone can have. I'm not saying it's right, but I'm not saying it's wrong.

We should be grateful for any gifts at all, doesn't matter if you're the guy or girl. If they're asking for more, you should reconsider your partner choice. It's never right to "expect" to get something so materialistic as a gift. The desire for those things is acceptable, but the demand for it is not. Hell, I want a Ferrari, but who's gonna get me one?

Having said that, I've bought my girlfriend this whatever purse and wallet, and that whatever jacket and necklace on special occasions; and ONLY if I feel like I am comfortable in spending that extra cash. It should never be a burden or a priority.

Also ladies, please be nice to your men. It's a bit of a ball-buster when you point at a $5000 bag, and we're working hard to save a few hundred bucks here and there. We try and give you what we can afford. If we could, we would. But unfortunately we all have bills, loans, etc...

I hate how these broads think that they are entitled to Chanel this, Ferragamo that, Dolce this... and if they dont get it then their man is an asshole. Bitch get real, if you truly, honestly love your man, then that shit shouldnt matter.

Girls like this RangeRover broad makes me sick inside, so tacky, I bet the only job you have had is getting on your knees or laying on your back. By the time your into your 30's your gonna be alone, with flappy meat curtains, and no man will want you, but its alright you got your $5000 dollar chanel bag to cuddle at night.. Btw you sound like a real winner

A little harsh, lol.

On a more serious note.. to each their own..
Some girls have the luxury of being pampered by a rich boyfriend. Most do not. Their behavior is based on their lifestyle. It's almost inevitable.
In all fairness, I doubt she'll get "flappy" when she's older.
(Excuse me if I'm offending) She has more than enough time to hit the gym and stay in shape.

Why do you think some women with rich husbands look like they're 27 when they're 50?

I think a lot of people tend to forget the importance of a special event like vday, anni, bday etc. Material goods are just...well material. It's not needed to make the day "amazing" but it's more like the cherry ontop of your sundae. You can have it with or without. Can't speak for all of you..but the older I get..I'm longing more for the special days to be memorable rather than what he bought me. 60 years from now is the material item really going to matter vs the way he made me feel/what we did together?

This is what girls fail to see.....they just want nice shit so they can brag to their gfs and *try* to be better than the other....

Honestly, I rather have a gf that can make me laugh and smile before I have a rich g/f thats bitchy and creates lies in her own head.

Its not a matter of you getting older its the fact you're not a materialistic woman.. Thank god there are a few out there... None of my actual girlfriends that I can think of expect things, sure its nice to get as we all want expensive and nice things, but none I keep around me are ones that demand this from their SO.... Stupid holidays and stupid women who are expressing it's all about what you are bought...

Impulse well said
For me if I'm pointing to something like that tho I'm not expecting it to be bought; just saying I want it.. I would never expect someone I'm dating to buy something like that... If someone was going to spend that amount on me I would rather spend it on a vacation where we could build memories together

u people think a chanel bag is bad?

I seen people (20's - 30's) in China who bought a m6 and a bentley convertible for their gfs in china

its just a different lifestyle..... some people spend a lot of money so their motivation to make more money even higher... and when they do have a lot of money, a chanel bag is like pocket change

breaking news: guys like pretty girls and pretty girls like rich guys

well of course...
all girls like 3 things in guys... either rich/smart/appearance... i doubt any girls wouldnt date a guy with any 2 out of the 3 things above if she is single

but guess what 2 out of 3 of the above are related to money... rich = money, smart = leads to money... so any combination of 2 leads to money

Girls who DO need/want/ expect their bfs to give them luxurious items to show it oFf to their friends/strangers/your blog/fb/etc...just remember this:

No matter how much swag you receive...there's always going to be someone else who will outdo you. So what's the point?

Unless you used your own money that you effin made with your own bare hands...nothing worth bragging about.

I'm tacky? You're sitting online telling a bunch of guys how you want to get fucked all day. CLASSY!

I love how you assume because I have nice things, it means I only get fucked. Just because all you do is get fucked, doesn't mean I do.

Some of us are productive citizens and don't talk to other girls about their "meat flaps". Get some manners, totally unlady like.

I'm also so fucking sick and tired of people telling me that I'm going to be alone and lonely. Do you think that Dtox and I can't have a healthy relationship because he has money? That's so narrow minded and judgmental to me. We are young, we are in love and we have been together for a few years- yet anyone who knows he has money tells me he's just going to leave me for someone else, or he'll dump me as soon as I turn 30 because I won't be young anymore.

Just because my boyfriend has money, doesn't mean he is any less of a person than any of you. He is a nice person, he has morals, he is low key and probably the most amazing person I have ever met in my life and we truly love each other for who we are, despite my "looks" and despite his money.

I would really appreciate it if you guys stopped talking to us like we weren't human- we are just like any of you.

While you guys might not drive $300,000 cars- to him that is normal, as a $40,000 car is to you.

He isn't some super human douchebag. At the end of the day a fucking car is a fucking car and a handbag is a fucking handbag. Who cares if we spend more on our items. Does that automatically mean I am a retard and he's a douche? Stop with the stereotyping, it's getting old.

We are great down to earth people and don't let our items get to our head. I don't think our relationship is any different from any of yours so I don't understand why you assume ours is different.

Can wealthy people not be in love or something?

Grow up guys.
