Alpine w505 problem

I can only see audio in the settings, nothing else. DVD's and videos from ipod won't show up but i can hear the audio just fine. Will TR-7? Fix this?

Also, where can i buy the PAC, gps antenna and bluetooth mic for the deck.

TIA

yes you will need the tr7 either that or hook it up properly

go to the sponsors
cartunes (coq)
soundworks (burnaby)
soundsgood (coq by ikea)
rise auto (richmond)

all of them can help you out

Yes we have plenty of TR-7's in stock so no problem there.
We can also order any Alpine accessories as well if need be.

Hmm got another question, since i need a mic to use bluetooth. Can it be any mic or is there a particular one i need to use it?

on the back of the w505 if i remembered correctly it's just a regular style plug forgot if it's 2.5 or 3.5 tho. That being said your still better off using the original as it's designed to use in a car.

Don't you need the nav unit to use the bluetooth feature? Anyway, you can use a generic mic. The problem with a generic mic is the length of the cable. Most are not long enough. I guess you can use an extender, but by the time you get it all done, it might not be worth the hassle. I used a generic mic because I already had one lying around.

So, a W505, eh? I love mine, but hate the frickin' Nav part.

We have tried to mix and match microphones in the past and Alpine's voltage is different than the Pioneers or JVC's. Your voice may not be a loud as it should be if its not an Alpine Mic.

The newest Pioneer units (like my AVIC-Z120) have no lag whatsoever and the Navi is even better than before. :bigthumb:

It took me a little while to learn all the new functions of the 120 after using my JVC. Its so different but has so many more features so it takes a little while to learn everything. :)

What's the model # for the BT mic and GPS antenna?
