It does not work, i've tried making it a long time ago. The rope must have no give and you're hands will get tired pushing it up constantly lol

If you really need to, you can use a monopod! Or bring a kid so you can rest the camera on top of them. :D

Though the kid could get annoying and start shouting....there goes your stabilizer.

haha shouting is ok but its getting them to stay still... older kids shouldnt be a problem but not younger kids.... haha
