| Baller. I remember my dad caving and buying me a $460 Voodoo2 in 1996, with the promise I had to use it for 5 years. I used it for 6. :D Still keep it in a box under my bed.
Also remember the day he bought me a SB16 (my 1st sound card) in 1993, that thing was like $280 in this store (anybody remember Egghead Software? :D) in Oregon iirc.
