He isn't PSing the lighting, he is just making composites with different shots, shoot each background separately. *not all the shots obviously* I have been following his shots for years on fredmiranda and flickr |

My best guess would be that he shot the 2 girls, the lighter (unlit) the candles and the background as one shot. Then shot the flames separate and added them in. Yep, guessed right. check his flickr page for some info on each shot: www.flickr.com/photos/jwlphotography/3814268636/ |
