[Witness] Stabbing at The Cambie Hostel, Saturday January 29th, 1:30 am
 

My friend was outside The Cambie at 1:30 am on Sunday January 29th, where he was assaulted by multiple guys.

He was knocked unconscious, nose broken, then stabbed. The people who assaulted him did not steal his personal belongings. He is slowly recovering from his wounds, but needs witnesses for the incident. There was a lineup outside, and people were trying to help him.

He needs witnesses to help identify his assailants. Please, if you were there, or know someone who was there, PM me! Anything helps at this moment.

I don't think you get assaulted for no reason, or maybe its possible if the three guys were drunk.. but anyhow.. hope you find the assailants

I don't believe for a sec this is a random attack.

Most likely your friend got into an agurment with the group.

That is why the best way to stay safe in Vancouver is to avoid clubbing or just mind your own business.

its a bar but at night they have a cover charge and it gets a bit rowdy in there.

Well since phil was nice enough to speak up I have a funny story to tell.


So this was I'm thinking 4 year ago and we were having a fire under the lions gate bridge. One of our buddies brought his chain saw to cut up wood. So the wood was cut so he took the chain off to fix something on the saw. So phil didn't know this and our buddy started the chain saw back up with out the chain of course pulled the trigger and put it right into phils chest.

Phil hit the roof I swear he almost had a heart attack from this, we were all laughing of course but the look on his face was priceless and to this day he's very cautious when someones messing with a saw around him :)


Sorry about the stabbing I'm thinking clubvibes or other local bar scene sites would be the best bet to find someone.

The intent of this thread is to see if anyone on Revscene saw what happened, as there were many people outside The Cambie Hostel who witnessed it. There were also people who helped him, and tried to prevent the blood from flowing out more, while the paramedics and police came.

I know you all want to start pointing fingers, and talk about who instigated what, and what he SHOULD have done, just like in the other thread about the fellow who got punched in the cell phone.

That's not what we are trying to find out.
