Experience with Autolismo

I searched autolismo on rs and found some old threads from 2009 but just decided to make a new one for better traffic...

first off, i dont really make these types of threads cuz i think its corny but i will cuz autolismo is simply great...

His hid kits and led's are just average (although i NEVER had any issue with my low beam hid since i bought from 2009), but to me MOST IMPORTANTLY his customer service, especially his installations and his warranty is great! he really knows what he is doing..

i have been using autolismo since early 2009 when i first got my hid's purchased and installed by him & his installer, so far the hid's havent had a single problem since 2009.. also got my puddle lights installed by him as well (drilling measuring, connecting to dome etc.)

while my fog hid's (yea i know hall of shame and blinding), the smarteye kit which is NOT the cheap kit, that i purchased from crystal mall hid outlet, bulbs burnt out twice and now my ballast is fried.... the reason i bought the fogs from hid outlet was because he didnt carry the 881 hid kit at the time (although now i regret installing them in the first place..) but the installation of the fog hid was still done through Autolismo because the price was awesome!

His installer Eddie is top notch i say, although if you cant speak chinese (canto i think?) it might be kind of hard to communicate with him..(Thomas translates to me through the phone usually if i cant understand him lol) Eddie works in his garage at his house and he seems like a guy who wants to give MORE than what you paid for... last time when i went to him for installing my monarch puddle lights he said my hood had swirls and polished my hood for me with a buffer... and not just that but everytime i have little things going wrong with my led's or my puddle lights Thomas was ALWAYS willing to help me out by inviting me to his Eddie's garage in for checkup for free of charge. And Eddie had no problem dealing with my problems as well for no charge.

If your led's burnout he replaces you with a new one without any doubt even installing too.. (as long as you got it installed by him from beginning)

Maybe i should shutup now but for me Autolismo has earned me ton of respect for its service.. if you ever need any led,hid or simply anything to do with lighting installed i strongly recommend the installer Eddie from Autolismo or Thomas, great guys, he wont rip you off, hes just pure gold and very honest guys

So they do all sorts of custom lighting as well?
I need to get new trunk lighting cuz my sub box covers the current trunk light. =(

I've bought led's from Thomas. I wanted to exchange for a different color, he met up with me and got me what I wanted. Good guy to deal with. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think he's an RS sponsor?

last time i visited the garage, i've noticed the retrofitted projectors on the installer guy Eddies car which was new... so i asked him if he does retrofitting and he did say he can but its pricey.. didnt give me exact quote but i dont really think it is officially opened to everyone.. but maybe someone can give it a shot if price is descent?, his retrofitted lights looked like it was nicely done though just by quick glance at it but not too sure cuz it was kind of dark out

Levitron 02-06-2011 09:59 PM

Go Thomas! :D

godwin 02-06-2011 11:21 PM

You would not find any licensed shop publicly selling services that are illegal.
