durability of Tein camber plates (will they rust?) I ordered up some Tein camberplates, and they're in the mail. someone told me that the quality of Tein camber plates are questionable as they've hear from a few other ppl who've had theirs rust out. tried searching around to see if others have experienced something similar, but couldn't find any info. to those with coilover set ups or just the camber plates from Tein, has yours rusted? how long have you had them for, and do you drive the car through winter? |
Just get them. You know you want them. Rust or not. :D |
he already has. |
yes, I already bought them. these camber plates from Tein are gold in colour, if that makes a difference. I know many will come in green depending on application and when bundled with a coilover suspension. |
most likely anodized like most quality coilover kits which is a pretty good process and fairly tough but I would say is only 100% rust proof if it remains in immaculate condition, and by that I mean that you don't nick it or chip it when installing... will be hard because it's metal on metal contact where the camber plates meet the engine bay. it is what it is though just gotta wait and see |
