2011 Nissan Quest

Yeah, it's a minivan, but it shares the platform with the JDM Nissan Elgrand, but with an uglier facelift. I'd rock one and slam it though!

Quote:

The new-generation 2011 Nissan Quest has a new exterior design with a bold bumper, grille, headlights and horizontal. Look at the rear of the vehicle and see a ‘boomerang’ rear lights and rear door finisher. Other features include a full surround tinted glass, black frame rails and chrome accents. Wheels revolve around a standard 16-inch or 18-inch size. 2011 Nissan Quest exterior design is also one of the strongest winds with 0.32 CD Quest Model P.

The 2011 Nissan Quest interior gets a theater-style interior with increased second and third row. The front seats have special “trilaminar” structure, there are three types of body pillows designed to redistribute pressure than conventional fillings.

At the heart of the 2011 Nissan Quest is the 3.5-liter V6 unit delivering 253 hp and 236 lb-ft (320 Nm) of torque, mated to a Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) transmission. No 2012 performance figures have been released, but there’s enough power and torque – at least on paper – to presume that the 2011 Nissan Quest will be at least a decent drive.

The Japanese minivan also features an independent suspension all around with a stabilizer bar in front, while ABS, EBD (Electronic Brake force Distribution) and BA (Brake Assist) will come as standard on all models.

Standard wheels are 16-inch alloys, shod in 225/65 all-season tires, while better-equipped 2011 Nissan Quest models will feature 18-inch rims with sportier rubber (235/65).

Under the 2011 Nissan Quest hood is a 3.5-liter DOHC V6 with 253 hp and 236 lb-ft of torque. The 2011 Nissan Quest engine is equipped with dual Nissan variable Induction Control System (NIC), micro finished camshaft and crankshaft surfaces, DLC (Diamond like Carbon) coated valve lifters, resin intake manifold, forged crankshaft, digital knock control, high capacity muffler and lightweight aluminum block and cylinder heads. The 2011 Nissan Quest will be offered in four trim levels (S, SV, SL and LE), with seven exterior colors and two interior tones.

I think Nissan made a smart move sharing the JDM model.

The previous generation makes me wanna hurl.

Just brought this one up from Google. IMO, looks a lot like the one out of the new Sienna.

ugly pos. I saw one yesterday and i thought it was one of those JDM vans that was imported but then i passed by the dealership and i saw a load of them. I hate cars that have the shifter in the middle of the dash.

from the looks of it, only headlight, grille and front bumper will need to be replaced only, rear will need Elgrand lights, rear hatch, bumpers.

the hood and fenders look identical

so not a lot of work is needed to be done...
