If he didn't eat mexican before hand he wouldn't end up having the runs.
You're not supposed to lay down one fat coat of clear your supposed to lay down numerous thinner coats with flash time in between to prevent runs the larger the flake the more clear you'll need to smooth it all out.
Then wet sand, polish and enjoy your hard work and wasted money

You can go to Concept Finishes in Richmond. I don't remember their exact address, but they are on Bridgeport rd near G5.
Also with flake jobs, you will have to find a shop where the painter has a flake spray gun.
Also, in the case of spraying a flake job, the flakes are mixed into a clear binder(think of it as clear basecoat with the flakes mixed in). This helps the flakes lay properly onto the panel and also minimizes the need to apply several layers of clearcoat.
